I'm happy to see that you became A2 since your last post

I'm 20 and hopped on finasteride (propecia) and plan on staying on my whole life. Hairline started receding when I was 19, and trust me girls in their early 20s are NOT ready for a bald guy. It's only 1 pill a day and not that expensive.

Does it work? And is it really just one pill a day? Or what else is included in the routine to make sure the results stay?

would love an AMA. I am almost bald and want to make sure I get some hair back!

I take it from hims/keeps. Pill is tiny, sometimes I'll go a few days without taking and nothing bad happens. Got on in 2017 and am very happy with the results. I could see some thinning and temple receding when I started. Now its all good and fuller with a solid hairline.

Sides are way overblown with fin. The wedding tackle works like a champ. The people who complain about sides most likely waited too long to do anything and let DHT kill their hair follicles. If you get to that point, then fin wont really do much because you need to get a transplant to replace the dead follicles.

just use rogaine for ur hairline. I did and mine is literally back to looking like I never lost a single hair after a year. I’m 21 also is that helps.

the routine is kind of annoying and yea u have to use it everyday but in my opinion it’s worth it. Costs around $400-500 per year. I work at a MMHF so I just put it on in the morning before the market at 6am and after I get off so around 8pm. you will start to lose what u gained from it if u don’t use it for around a week I’d say.

everyone reacts differently to it but for me it was night and day. some people it only stops hair from falling out but for mine it regrew everything very fast. I used it for my crown too but started with my hairline. It’s 100% worth giving a shot if u haven’t tried it and are considering pills.

Am I the only person that thinks if you're going bald you should just let it happen and embrace it? What are you going to rub a bunch of shit in your hair for the rest of your life?

As male dominated, we really should be talking more about this as a website

No worries. Yeah, PRP treatment takes time to really take hold. That's why the system you use is so important. I can tell you that, depending on the system, this can be an extremely high margin treatment. For a lower quality system (ie one that uses an MTF Centerfuge), the tubes are $50-$100 per tube depending on the brand. 2 Tubes and 20 CCs of blood, plus maybe a half hour tops, and it's an easy $400. There are systems which specialize in Bone Marrow Aspirant Concentrate (BMAC), which is basically a marrow draw from your Illiac Crest (among other places), and spun down for the concentrated stem cells and growth factors. BMAC systems like the Terumo Harvest and the EmCyte PurePRP also do a great job at PRP but are also more expensive in terms of disposable costs. I know a lot of derms and plastic surgeons that use Eclipse PRP (as the branded tube) and an MTF Centerfuge. It's a good product, don't get me wrong,, but for hair restoration, I'd feel more comfortable knowing I'm getting PRP from a system designed for BMAC.

Oh, this sounds like routine, and I hate this kind of routine! I also needed a hair restoration after birth, and I started looking for a good clinic in Toronto, my town. I found a suitable clinic at https://maps.app.goo.gl/ePPcCGzL5oJoFWqM7. The doctor from the clinic informed me that they could save my hair. Restoring took around 5 hours in the comfort of their office, and it was only one procedure that you executed once. In comparison with PRP, hair restoration is cheaper and more affordable and takes less time. I am thankful for the wonderful effect. I hope I have helped you.

If you're serious about hair restoration, first jump on the standard stack and see how it works for a year or two. If you're lucky, you'll be one of those rare super responders that get back a ton. If not, hopefully you'll at least slow it down.

After that, it's time to decide whether or not to get a hair transplant. There's no magic bullet yet.

I'd say that a good HT + meds will buy you a good 10-15 years. Who knows what the market will look like a decade from now.
