Pursue finance?
Hello,
With our world changing what seems to be day to day, I cannot keep thinking about the future of finance and the job market as a whole. I'm not saying finance is dead, however there is clearly a trend it is becoming less and less lucrative. My thoughts are should I stop pursuing my finance career and seek out a trade, or even
better start my own company ( in a trade)?
Would like to know others thoughts regarding this topic, any input is appreciated
Thank you.
Hey Inexperiencedbateman, what a lonely thread. I'm here since nobody responded ...so maybe one of these discussions will help:
No promises, but maybe one of our professional members will share their wisdom: @JuliannaB" armstrongwm Lelly
Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
It’s all about finding where you fit best that’ll make any career, especially in finance, the most lucrative. What makes you think it’s no longer lucrative? I ask because I tend to think the opposite.
The days of MD's pulling 20 million are over, more hours lower pay for most execs it seems too.
