Putting IB Open House on Resume???

I just recently applied and accepted to attend a IBD open house at a top boutique in Chicago (William Blair). Im currently a sophomore and am have struggled with finding an internship, would an experience like this be acceptable to put on a resume (in extra curriculars), or is it too minimal? I'm currently leaning towards not putting it on and just using it as something to talk about perhaps during an interview to show that I have an interest in IB.

Also, I know this is going to be a great opportunity for me to network and gain exposure to high ranking individuals with this firms IBD. I heard that some people who make good impressions at these sort of events get interviews/ invitations to superdays etc. Has anyone ever been to such an event, if so what are some things I should do when there to make a strong impression. I have already compiled a list of questions I am going to ask/ things to talk about.

don't put it on there. i saw a linkedin post the other day with some kid saying thank you to an EB for inviting him for the day. it was kitchy. he also added it and another one day long event under his "experience" section.

don't put a half day event on your resume or your linkedin - just mention it when you get to an interview with them.
