PwC Management Consulting vs Strategy& Strategy Consulting Internship
Hi guys, was hoping to get your thoughts on which of the two positions in the title would be a better learning experience that I could leverage upon come full-time recruiting (Graduating 2022).
For some background, I'm currently a STEM undergrad w/ little experience in business, looking to get into MBB after grad.
While Strat& might seem like the obvious choice here, when I was speaking to a management consultant at PwC, the fact that MCs get to their hands on a mix of implementation as well as recommendation kind of work (compared to strategy consultants focusing solely on recommendations) interested me, as I felt it might give me a more holistic overview of the whole consulting process and in turn make a more attractive applicant to other strategy consulting firms in the future.
Strategy& no question
Implementation projects are the single worse type of projects you can find IMO. Long, tedious, often lacking any intellectual challenge.
Exit opps are better
Compensation is better
Work is better
Hours will not be worse
Strategy& any day any time.
