Q: Do banks bother to verify spring break dates for spring internships?

I am applying to a couple spring programs at a BB. My top choice is the IBD program which doesn't coincide with my spring break although the S&T program does.

Wondering- do the banks actually check or it's just a disclaimer because they don't want to be responsible for students missing school? Could I just enter my dates as a 2 week break? Or is there no point in applying to the program that doesn't coincide with my dates?
Would love to hear from anyone who's been in the same situation.
