Question about no putting GPA on resume

Got an interview with a boutique where I'm going to school in Los Angeles. If I didn't include GPA on resume could I expect it to come up in interview and how do I explain so it doesn't make like I'm just making up an excuse for a lower GPA. Thanks

Honestly, GPA is usually just a metric to get your foot in the door. In the interview you need to do three things:

1) Convince them you are smart 2) Convince them you can handle the work 3) Convince them you are a likable human being

If GPA doesn't come up, then be happy. If it does, tell the story of how you messed up freshman year but you focused and now it is way higher.

Hope this helps

I've never had a problem with it, I normally actually take pains to address it early in the interview with my story. If you got the interview, they're interested in you moreso than all the other random schmucks who applied to. Prove to them that you aren't a retarded moron who somehow got into your school on a fluke and you're good.

Follow the first post too, it's straight off M&I and it's completely true.
