Question about SA Payment

Hi guys,

I am interning at a BB this summer. In my offer over the phone, I was told that I would have an annual salary prorated for my time there, which seems pretty typical. However, when I received my official offer letter, there was a NY wage form that indicated how much I would be making per hour and then another wage for overtime.

Is the NY wage form just a formality and I'll still be getting a flat rate regardless of how much I work? Or am I getting paid hourly? I would rather get paid hourly, honestly, because I would make the same amount as the flat rate if I worked 40 hrs/week, but I'm assuming I'll be working more.

Anyone who had a similar experience and could share what happened would be great. Thanks!
