Question: How to efficiently follow up with network?

Since graduation from my state school, my network has expanded 3x and I have a spreadsheet over 150 people that I thought I had good brief conversations with. What is the best way and frequency to follow up with them and in what format? (Some’ve suggested ask for coffee chat every 2 month, other say just send over some good articles once a while)

I don’t think many highly successful people would find my articles funny or helpful, so I would like to hear your takes on this. I have looked through dozens posts here and it seems like everyone has a different answer.

I don’t think I am socially awkward, but it feels quite difficult to maintain meaningful long term relationships. Btw, I am trying to lateral from a boutique to MM now, did any of you have success and get invited to interviews after first cold call? (most say their companies are not in the position to hire after I implied my interest) There obviously is not a clear timeline for off-cycle lateral and how many follow ups before asking to pass my resume.
