Question regarding cold calling/emailing.
I have access to some resources that include Bloomberg and CapIQ, would it be in poor taste to contact alumni through their account emails listed in such profiles?
I briefly considered using the chat function in Bloomberg with a quick request for an informational interview at their leisure. I imagine there could be quite a few people that may be too busy for such approaches.
Should I stick to just calling and emailing specific offices instead?
I think this is a classic case for evaluating upside/downside. The answer should be pretty clear after weighing them.
Still though, I'd like to avoid an Chang/Vayner moment if people feel strongly one way or the other. That is the main reason for apprehension.
the what? just do it!!!!
