Questions to ask a start up PE fund

Hi, I've been invited to a start-up private investment fund, they've secured the capital for their first fund.

Would be great if someone could offer some key questions I should ask them during an interview. I've prepared a few but what are some things you should be asking for a role such as this.

First, I would want to make certain that they have closed their fund. Second, probably on how they plan on sourcing deals (i.e., will they expect you to source? or will they just do banked deals?).

That aside, you need to evaluate the partners, their track record, and strategy to see if it aligns with your own goals. Joining a start up fund can be exciting and definitely rewarding if it performs but obviously, this carries a ton of risk as well. What if they can't raise the fund, what if they can't find quality deals, etc.
