Quick Resume Question

I'm editing my resume and have a quick question regarding my first job.

So I graduated in 2017 and started working full-time that June, but had to take one class in the fall to "officially" graduate and receive my diploma that December. I got my diploma that December and after that I was recruited to another firm, presumably waiting until I was officially a graduate.

Currently on my resume, I have an asterisk next to the end date of my first job, so it looks like this: "June 2017 - January 2018* " and the asterisk says "accepted full-time offer with xyz firm after officially receiving diploma in December 2017".

Should I be doing that? Should I keep the asterisk and the note or just remove it? Am I overthinking this entirely? I just want to show firms I am not a flight risk. I was at my next job for 2 years and have been at my current for 11 months.

Thank you
