Currently a new IB analyst considering a lateral to an analyst buyside position.
what happens if you leave your banking role before a year?
-
do you get a stub bonus for your time or no bonus at all?
-
do you need to pay back your signing bonus? (for not finishing 2 year program)
At a BB in case that matters

Jesus, amazed at this.
why would you possibly believe you’d get paid a retention bonus if you quit 4 months into the job?
How did you manage to get a buy-side gig after 2 months on the desk? Was it through a recruiter?
