Raising Seed Capital for real estate fund
My partner and I are looking for seed capital to start our real estate company. We specialize in NYC multifamily with a focus on removing rent stabilized tenants. My partner has over 13 years of experience dealing with RS tenants and is known as the best in the business. He cleaned out his family portfolio (140/168 RS tenants) without any major buyouts over $5k and the portfolio returned a levered 40%+ IRR. We're looking for one or a couple of investors who would like to acquire a piece of the company. We already have off-market deals that we can acquire, just looking for funding to pay for the support team and office space in addition to helping raise GP equity when we need it.
Already have a power point outlining the opportunity with a fully functioning website in place. Any ideas on how I should proceed to raise this seed capital?
Sounds like a scam.
I spoke too soon without finishing reading, but you deal with the RS tenants by buying them out, correct?
Might want to give us more information than that, aka attaching your ppt. You're pitching this on WSO so that's probably a given credibility-wise.
How much money do you need? I have a few hundred bucks I need to put to work. You can PM me the marketing materials. Thanks.
