RE Appraisal/Valuation to RE IB or ER

Hi there,

I'm wondering what the possibility of moving from a well known CRE valuations & advisory firm to RE IB or ER would be like and what the best strategy would be to do so. Is this doable if I stay in valuations for 2 years, complete CFA level 1, and a Wall Street Prep financial modelling courses? Would there need to be another step after valuations such as moving to into other real estate positions. Would getting an MBA be the best bet?

New to this forum and any advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated.
