RE Banking Interview Prep Help

Hi All,

I have a phone interview coming up with a VP at an EB, and was just wondering what to expect? From what I have been hearing it will be mostly behavioral and fit based but should be prepped on simple technicals (accretion/dilution, DCF drivers, merger logic, sale off an asset etc..) any insight on what to expect, and a guide for a paper M&A analysis would be much appreciated!

Thank you.

Any tips on how to structure the story? I think it's pretty good right now but would love some ideas.

Not sure what group or industry you are lateraling from but I would have an explanation or rationale on why you want to focus on real estate transactions. You will for sure be asked the regular guide questions, but more emphasis on merger math. There’s a couple guides online that go over that section. If you don’t mind me asking what EB is it?
