RE banking vs smaller funds
I did a search but didn't see anything comparable to this question; what are your thoughts on real estate groups like CBRE Capital Advisors, Eastdil, etc vs going to a small-medium fund, say 100-700m AUM? In terms of deal complexity/intellectual engagement, pay, culture, etc... was hoping some one might have experience from both, or maybe have gone from one to the other.
I'm currently at a smaller fund in the south, and have gotten messages from recruiters for opportunities like this. Wanted to see what light others had on it
