RE SSG Groups

Hey everyone. I recently posted ‘Real Estate Distressed Debt’ in the forum and received great advice and information. I got both of the internships (BB CMBS and Distressed / Special Sits). The Distressed / Special Sits is a BB group that invests in and originates distressed debt (this is not a CMBS special servicer). I have until Friday to respond to both of these options and I am, again, turning to WSO for some advice.

I hope to go into MF REPE in the future. Assuming that I’m able to convert full time (big if), which of these two options would provide better opportunities to do so? Also, in general, which of these two jobs would provide better exit ops?

Understand that this may come off as shallow but I feel like I’ve connected with the teams equally and the work for each of these groups have different positives and negatives. Therefore, exit ops is the biggest differentiating factor for me.

Thanks everyone for your help.
