Reaching out to college alumni vs High-school alumni?

I know this does not apply if you went to a regular public highschool.
However, I went to a very small all boys private highschool. The school prides itself on its brotherhood and community. It is hard to express over reddit but alumni of the school have a very special connection and bond.
Recently, I joined my highschools alumni network on Linkedin and found a lot of older alumni in banking. In my opinion, I feel like these guys would push for me harder/I would have a better connection with them as opposed to just my college alumni which I feel like they get messaged all of the time. What are your thoughts?
