Reaching out to college alumni vs High-school alumni?
I know this does not apply if you went to a regular public highschool.
However, I went to a very small all boys private highschool. The school prides itself on its brotherhood and community. It is hard to express over reddit but alumni of the school have a very special connection and bond.
Recently, I joined my highschools alumni network on Linkedin and found a lot of older alumni in banking. In my opinion, I feel like these guys would push for me harder/I would have a better connection with them as opposed to just my college alumni which I feel like they get messaged all of the time. What are your thoughts?
In all seriousness utilize both HS and college alumni, there should be no reason why you can’t use both resources.
Definitely worth emailing them, especially at a smaller school there is a very strong alumni connection and they may be more helpful than college alums
