Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. Wasn't sure where to put it.

I had a flair for languages. But I soon discovered that what talks best is dollars, dinars, drachmas, rubles, rupees and pounds fucking sterling.

wth did you gain by posting this here?
sorry but this is so stupid, i really don't understand.

my advice:
save that guys privacy, remove that screenshot and his name from your topic.

I have a feeling that guy could care less. He's pretty well-known.

Having said that, still a stupid thread. Either he stops responding to you or he doesn't.

Anyway we exchanged emails and he said he didn't have time to do an (informational) interview however he'd analyze a deal if I had a specific one in mind. I pointed out a deal I'd like for him to analyze. He hasn't replied it's been two days.

It's been two days. Relax. He's probably doing things that actually make him money. Hell I make my boss money and it took him 4 months to actually give me an interview after he said I would. These dudes are busy.

Udechukwu:

(1) Should I email him again? or is that too pushy? I would imagine he's super busy but is a friendly reminder bad?

Yes you should email him again, but if it has only been two days, I would wait another....twelve. Two weeks is a good standard.

Udechukwu:

(2) If he does respond and analyzes the deal. How do I keep the ball rolling from there? I want to eventually get an informative interview with him.

Thank him, move on for a bit, and then in a couple weeks/months shoot him a cool article that is actually really relevant to him or something. You want to stay on his radar but not hit him over the head with it.

Also, it's kinda weird to dickslang his name and everything online.

Look, this guy is busy. I mean it.

Working on a deal is time consuming. I'm sure he's in the middle of closing or something and can't find time to answer your questions (or analyze your deal). I would be surprised if he ever got back to you. He asked you to send him that info to determine if you're someone worth losing 10 seconds for. If you were the son of a high profile individual, do you really think he wouldn't take the time to chat? Highly unlikely. Seeing the info you have is his way of filtering people. Makes sense.

Still, try again in two weeks. Don't beat yourself up if he doesn't reply.

That seems about right. Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it.
