Realistic B-School Chances

Considering applying to B-School next fall and wanted to get a realistic idea of what schools I could have a shot at. I graduated from Babson with a 3.3 cumulative and 3.8 major GPA (Finance). I was hired into BNP Paribas Asset Management's 2 year Associate Program and did 6 months in NY as an investment associate for the Distressed Debt portfolio and another 6 months in Hong Kong as an investment associate for the Asia-Pacific High Dividend Equities team. After only my first year I was promoted out of the program to an Investment Analyst position at a credit hedge fund owned by BNP Paribas in NY. By the time I apply next Fall I will have worked here for a year and will have another year under my belt before I begin classes. I got a 750 on my GMATs.

I want to transition into PE/VC (I'm very good at cap market investing but bored of it) and so ideally want to attend a top-10 finance school. I'm definitely going to at least apply to Harvard, Wharton, Columbia, Darthmouth, and MIT but what other schools should I consider that I might have a better chance of getting in to? I also do qutie a bit of volunteer work and extracurriculars and have solid recommendations so not worried about that part.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

750 GMAT with your experience should set you up for almost anywhere IMO. A lot of people use B-school to land on buyside.....

750 with your experience means you wont be immediately thrown in the trash. You are by no means "set up". I had a colleague with a 760, 3.9 finance, 4 years buyside work exp, and got turned down by UT/UVA/Wharton/HBS/Duke/ waitlisted at chicago...and then accepted at chicago of of the waitlist. The end result was obviously good, but it speaks to the randomness of the process, and that kind of story is a dime-a-dozen. The process is dependent on much much much more than your test scores. It's not law school (which is very formulaic).

The GMAT is merely what gets your application read, after that, it's irrelevant from an admissions perspective.
