Really Stressed, Haven't Heard Back from Superday in a Month
I was invited to a Superday at a BB a little over a month ago. I didn't think I hit the interviews out of the park or anything, but I thought I did well. Anyway, I understand that most offers and rejections are given within the first few days. After that, I guess you are on some type of waitlist in case anyone turns down the offer. But aren't there deadlines to accept these offers? I'm really confused as to why I haven't heard back. This whole process is really stressing me out as this is my only promising lead for an internship this summer. I would appreciate any insight or advice for people who gave gone through this as well. Thanks.
Definitely rejected. Most banks just ghost you if no offer.
I'm a little surprised as this is one of the most prestigious BBs and I'd expect a little more from them. I guess I was just giving myself some false hope. Thank you for the honesty though, I appreciate it. Any advice on how I can rebound from this and still get a shot at an internship this summer?
Pretty sure you’re talking about JPM. I believe they were waiting until after all superdays to send out final offers. Obviously, they sent out offers to preferred candidates early, and the chance of an offer now is low, but I think you’re not completely out of hope yet if they haven’t said no.
just move on and improve yourself
One month and you still think there is a chance. I wish I had your optimism, OP.
