recent graduate resume help!

I have both engineering and mathematical finance backgrounds. I am very interested in finance but do not have experience except course works. I shot out about 100 applications, and only got few positive responses. With an international student in this situation, I am not sure where is my opportunity. I do not care about the position, as long as what I learned can be applied. Anyone would like to help me? Please review my resume and kindly share your thought. Thanks a lot.

You have great stats, I think it might be another issue. What were these positive responses. Did you just send out resumes? I think 100 proper networking contact attempts should have yielded better responses than just a few positive remarks. Provide a little more detail and maybe we can help.

Thanks for your comment. I got 3 interviews opportunities so far, but none of them is really in quantitative finance field. Consulting or commercial lead is not something I can do well. And the fact that I need H1b sponsorship drives away some recruiters immediately. I like to land a career in derivatives business, such as to price exotics derivatives, MBS, CDS, term structure. I am interested in those complicated problems.

I am exactly in ur situation .An international Mfin student supposed to graduate in May with no 'good' offers as yet. Reason:great program but not a target school in its true sense.I have had to network my ass off to get those not so good opportunities. You have to accept the fact that being an international student from a non target and that too without any finance experience makes it very very difficult to land a job.Just sending out resumes wont be enough. You need to network properly and let people know of your interest in a career in finance.I don't know much about USC's alumni network, but there must be people working in the industry from the same program .
