Recruiting for a different office than on campus
I'm going to graduate school in London and will be at a school where there is a heavy recruiting presence. But, I'm looking to work in a different city (not NYC though; I don't know if that makes things easier since that's where everyone wants to go).
Is anybody aware of any process where I could do interviews with London offices and have them refer me to the office in the city where I'm looking to live afterward? Or any other way this could work besides working in the London office for a few years and then requesting to transfer?
If there has already been a thread about this topic, my bad. I did a search and nothing answering my exact question came up (most threads are about transferring to NYC, but since I'm not looking to transfer to the hot spot destination of NYC, I'm not sure if this changes things)
