Recruiting on-cycle as an incoming analyst in a niche group

Hey everyone, currently in an interesting dilemma:

Secured a return offer this summer for a Special Situations Investing analyst role at a BB (think GS SS). The team's brand new, but has been getting good deal flow and is well accepted by the bank/CEO. My question is, what is the process I should be undertaking to get my name out there when headhunters inevitably start emailing when I start full-time? Do I get the same attention/looks as the more traditional coverage groups at the bank? Since my team deals in the HY/LevLoans space, should I try and focus my search on DD shops? Any insight would be appreciated; I know I'm in a bit of a unique situation.
