Recruitment in Paris after a MSc in London?

I am an EU student (not French) studying a MSc Finance at a top UK school (think Oxford/Cambridge/LSE/LBS). I do not speak any French (although I understand most of it since my partner is French), and after graduation I kind of have to move to Paris. I have been wondering, has anyone here (non-French, without speaking French, and without French "grande école" education) made this move from studying in a top notch school in London and trying to jump into the French market?

How difficult is that? Is it better to be recruited in London and ask to be transferred to Paris or is it better to try French recruiting straight away (although I have the feeling French recruitment may be French-biased)?

Thanks in advance!

Without speaking any French it will be difficult. I live in French speaking country and I can tell you that 1) French looove their Grand Ecoles 2) Hate speaking English 4) They thing that French schools are better than the UK ones.

Having said that, your Uni degree is a top one in EU so I guess that client facing positions are a long reach without French but the more you go in the back the biggest your chances. If I were you I would try to find a job that doesn't hurt my CV while I practice French and reposition
