Seems outrageously low, BESTRE
Not to alarm you but you are getting hosed my friend
I agree, just to add data points, I was making that at a Texan REIT out of school. It was a shit REIT, private non traded, $800MM AUM REIT. At a $10B publicly traded REIT on the West Coast (assuming big market like LA) with 3-4 years, you should be making a lot more.
Yikes. Thanks guys. What’s normal comp for REITs for various levels or experience ?
I'd think what you're getting might be reasonable for someone straight out of school, not someone with 3-4 years of experience.
Whats an SL Green or Vornado A1 or A2 make?
The base itself isn't egregiously low but the all-in is pretty low-ball. I think with 3-4 years of experience you should at least be sniffing 100K total if not surpassing it. It would be one thing if you were phoning it in for a 35-40 hour gig but at 60 hours you're making less than $25/hr.
Kind of surprised since the competition for junior talent has been pretty high on the west coast for the last few years.
you should be getting 100k+ all in.
