REIT comp

Let’s discuss REIT comp

Market: West Coast
REIT size: >$10b AUM
Experience: 3-4 years
Hours: 50-60
Title: Acquisitions & Underwriting Associate
Salary: $65k
Bonus: 10%
Stock: ~$2k
Other: Generous PTO, health benefits...etc

The base itself isn't egregiously low but the all-in is pretty low-ball. I think with 3-4 years of experience you should at least be sniffing 100K total if not surpassing it. It would be one thing if you were phoning it in for a 35-40 hour gig but at 60 hours you're making less than $25/hr.

Kind of surprised since the competition for junior talent has been pretty high on the west coast for the last few years.
