REIT exit opps
I’ve worked originating, executing and managing real estate deals across the capital stack for the last few years.
I have been trying to get in to RE IB but keep getting dinged for not having M&A/listed REIT experience. If I worked in the internal M&A/Strategy department of a company that manages a number of listed REITs would RE IB be a realistic exit opportunity?
The salary is actually pretty good, but I imagine the bonus would be quite low.

- What are you doing now/where are you doing it...
- What is long-term goal....
- What do you mean by internal M&A/strategy dept? For what type of company? Do mean managing REIT investment pools or M&A team at i-bank?
