Rejection Notification?
Hey guys,
Does anyone know what firms (if any) will notify you when you get rejected. I am from a non-target and have had first round video interviews with: GS,JPM,UBS,Citi, etc. but haven't heard back from any yet.
Will I know when I've been dinged or do I just have to assume?
Any feedback is great.
From what Ive heard Baird and CS both send rejection emails
I am also from a non target and had a first round with GS. Haven't heard back either and its been about two weeks since then. All it says in the online portal is "Interview completed".
In the same boat. Non-target and have done Hirevues for GS over two weeks ago and JPM over three weeks ago. GS still says "interview completed" and JPM recently changed from "application under review" to "application in review".
GS, UBS, BMO, and HL never gave me a rejection email, just had to find out by following up with analysts.
Is this for FT or SA?
Also from a non-target with an IBD offer from a MM - just some friendly advice, although it may not be too helpful now, but assuming you have networked, you'll have a better shot statistically at breaking in as a non-target candidate if you aim for some MMs or Boutiques as opposed to strictly those top shelf BBs you named. They are generally more willing to initially reach out of their standard on-campus recruiting buckets and consider outside applicants, if you have an in.
