Relationships Seem Like a Waste of Time Now

Hey monkeys, I hope you're doing well. About seven months ago, my girlfriend of four years broke up with me and it obviously sucked for the first few months, but I've been doing significantly better in the past two months. Despite being broke up with at the beginning of August, I could see it coming. The relationship just slowly faded away over the summer months. She changed.

Anyways, ever since the breakup I've kind of had a different view on girls. Frankly, I'm scared of being played like I did again. I don't want to waste another four years in something like that. It's gotten to the point where it's hard to enjoy going out and meeting new women because I always have this thought of "what if she's just like my ex and she just wants to play me?" in the back of my head. It's a bad feeling. As much as I don't want to, I'm really starting to believe that "All girls are the same." I don't want to waste my time with an immature girl like I just did for the last four years.

Anyways, for those of you who have gone through something similar, does this feeling go away? I want it to, but I don't see it going away soon. Obviously all women aren't the same... but are they?

Thanks guys
