Religious Ministry -> Finance
My story is that I am a rising junior at a non-target and for the past two years I have also been a Roman Catholic seminarian (meaning, I was in the process to become a priest) and have discontinued the program while continuing at the university. Partly due to two summers of 'interning' at a parish, I decided that it wasn't really what I wanted to do. I became interested in finance from an economics class in high school, and from reading the business news since I started college. The major we had to do for the seminary program was philosophy, but at the beginning of last year I declared a double major with economics, and have since reduced philosophy to a minor. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get an internship for this coming summer.
Any feedback on my situation would be appreciated. I have been lurking for some time, and have found this site to be very informative.
