Research/Write in B-School?
Curious if anyone has any experience and/or knowledge about the kind of opportunities there are to work with faculty on research projects and/or write for publication while enrolled at a top business school?
I'm an undergrad starting at MBB in the fall and the editor of my campus newspaper, so while I'm entering consulting I do have a passion for research and writing, especially for a publication. This question is sparked from reading some of Jim Collins' books (Built to Last, Good to Great), in which he speaks of his dedicated team of researchers, and also from being a longtime reader of HBR. It got me wondering, are any of these people (in either case) MBA candidates?
Thanks for any guidance, WSO.
