Resources for special sits
Hi, I am transitioning into special sits, and the fund invests both in equities and debts. I am coming from fundamental LO and have read You Can Be a Stock Market Genius, Distressed Debt Analysis (Moyer), The Art of Distressed M&A, etc.
Are there any other books, funds, or blogs where I can learn more about the fundamentals of the special sits? Appreciate the insights in advance.
If you already got the offer, you could probably just ask them. How big is the fund?

Second Clark Street Value, really good deep-dives on distressed, esp. BDCs and REITs during the last few months.
Other honorable mentions :

- Petition Substack (https://petition.substack.com/)
- Bill Rochelle's column on Bloomberg
- Creditslips
When has clark street ever covered a true distressed situation? He does spin offs, BDCs, and REITs
Bending the definition a little but Catabasis comes to mind. The optics were great at the time because of an excessive sell-off, but basically it was a failed biotech facing game over
2 podcast recs: (1) Value Investing with Legends (David Abrams & Joel Greenblatt episodes in particular; the series overall is pretty high quality / worth following); (2) the weekly Reorg Research podcast - always has a distressed news recap, and sometimes good topical deep-dives
& second the recs for DDI & Petition, both great resources
