Respecting the grind

I just gotta give a huge shoutout to WSO for being a community where people can respect the things you do, are willing to do, and have done to get where you are. I am taking an unpaid internship this summer at a PE firm to get necessary experience to hopefully break into the IB/PE industry after college. My parents, friends, advisors, and peers look at me like I'm crazy for taking an unpaid gig, and push me to find something "better". Coming from a non-target, this is huge for me and my career, but nobody respects it because they think "finance is finance" and that the accounting job my uncle can get me will be "great for my career".

Except for all you fucking monkeys here. I know that everybody here can relate to the grind in one way or another, so I gotta give a big thanks to all y'all.
