Response from Corp Dev Team

Hey guys,

I recently had a 3 hour final round interview with a F250 corporate development team. The interview was yesterday (Thursday) and I haven't heard a sound from them. I feel like it went fairly well, but I've heard that if they were seriously interested I would've heard something by now. Have I been dinged or is there still a chance?

Thanks for any guidance you guys have to offer!

Chill out, man. This isn't banking. Not hearing back the same day is not a sign of you being dinged in corp dev. I've gone through the corp dev recruiting process twice (recently switched to another firm), and some firms are incredibly slow.

Some context: when I was interviewing for my current role, I received two offers from two separate firms. The first firm was a F100 company that said they would get back to me on Friday, but extended me my offer on Monday. I know for a fact they did not interview anyone else. The second firm and the one I am at now is a F500 company that said they would get back to me on a Thursday and got back to me on Tuesday. They interviewed one other guy, but we both received offers.

Thank you for giving context! It's hard to really understand recruiting for corporate development given the scant amount of information at hand. To give you context on where I'm at, I'm a third year student at an Ivy target. I know how rare opportunities in corp dev are for students, so I'm really trying to take advantage of any opportunity given to me. That said, thank you for injecting some sanity into my somewhat neurotic head.
