Resume Feedback for Consulting

Hi everyone,

Please take a look at my resume and let me know what you think. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I used the template recommended by the Wet Feet Consulting Resume Guide.

Thanks a lot.

The format is painful to look at; try to standardize it more (dates on the right, for example). Why are you putting your class grades?? Since you're already a college grad who took the GMAT, there's no need to list your HS activities whatsoever.

Thank you for your feedback.

Wet Feet suggests dates on the left for easy reading; the format is from their guide. I would love to hear about what parts seemed painful to you because I'm open to tweaking it. This format is certainly different from the one I had before.

I was listing Calc courses because most engineers and math students take them, to try to highlight my analytical ability, and to offset my GPA, which may seem low. My school is renowned for its engineering department and my program is thought to be one of the most, if not the most, difficult ones. A 78 is considered a 3.3 and an 80-84 is considered a 3.7. Lol fuck me right?

Are you referring to my interests when you mentioned the HS stuff? I was just trying to highlight that I played both sports competitively, and had leadership roles on both teams. Is that a major faux pas to list that under interests?

Again, I appreciate your feedback, and would love to hear more.
