Resume format help for IB
Hi all, based on the title I know I could just google this, but I have searched different websites/sources and continue to find mixed responses. My question is - should I include my high school on my resume under the education section if I am a Freshman/Sophomore. I have some achievements that I think would look good for me and make me stand out. In addition, adding my high school takes up some space and allows me to have a full resume without having to make my font size 12+. Appreciate any feedback.
What I have heard in US is you take out your high school once you are already a sophomore, unless you went to those elite 'prep' schools (Exeter, Andover etc.) with an extensive network. Maybe reach out to some seniors and get some advice. Once you are a sophomore, you should be filling out CV with uni ECAs.
Albeit I'm in the UK, and here we are required to include HS grades even till FT recruiting. (Def no ECAs tho)
Interesting, appreicate the feedback. I find it hard though that sophomroes in college have enough either work experience or extra curiculars to actually fill out the resume. Maybe I'll play around with spacing.
That is wild though that you are required to include HS grades even till FT recruiting. Thanks again!
