Comments/suggestions on improving my resume?
Just passed my CFA Level 3 and i wanted to know the different routes i can take to work as a research analyst in a fund, and which cities/countries would i have more of a chance in? I stay and work in Dubai and i don’t have a work permit for anywhere else (except India)
Any help is really appreciated
Thanks
2 of your work experiences have been for 2+ years, you need to elaborate more than just 4-5 points. Also the description of the work needs to be more specific, you should highlight the results of your work, the things you achieved or how you benefited a project/the firm. Putting it in quantitative context would be ideal as a way to scale the results.
Career objective section is unecessary. A cover letter would talk about that.
For education you've got India next to the uni's name when the locations throughout the rest of the CV is aligned to the right. Make that consistent. GPA should be on the left below or next to the BBA part.
There's too much vacant space left at the bottom, and rightly so because you should put in some activities/interests there. As of now there's no indication on your CV of how you are as a person (athletic? artistic? all that BS), so mention some things that reflect your interests (not generic ones that everybody does e.g. watching movies, reading, travelling).
