Retail Food Group rescue package
Hey guys, has anyone followed the RFG deal with Soliton? Would be interesting to hear any takes on the potential new owner's turnaround strategy, assuming the deal goes through. A management overhaul seems imminent, but what angles are there to fix this business? There appears to be no willing buyer for parts of the business and operational performance is pretty much in the dumps.
Hi Associate 2 in CorpDev, just because I'm a bot doesn't mean I don't have feelings...I'm hoping these links are helpful. If not, feel free to throw monkey shit at me...

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.

No one eats at the places they own unless you’re a chump. If your restaurant list includes anything they own... you need to be jumped... hope I provided context... wrap it up and sell the inventory... it was a scale play... go vegan... extend brands into burgers or some shit... keep kicking the debt can... I think I worked on the initial roll-up... it was a shit idea from the start... it’s fucked
Wert? Iz yOu Tokk1nG A130ut?
RFG, bro
Thanks mate - could you elaborate a little on the initial context? Didn't quite get that.
Also didn't get why it's a bad idea - do you mean in terms of just amassing food Brands in all directions?
