RFP internship interview preparation

Hi

I'm going to have an interview pretty soon and the internship entails the following:

  • Participate in answering Request for Proposals (RFP)s and Request for Information (RFI)s, for institutional and retail sales forces across Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.

  • Liaise with all internal contributors, including sales teams, product specialists, portfolio managers, product management and financial engineering to obtain all information necessary to complete the RFPs and RFIs.

  • Work with the Knowledge Management and Corporate Information content editor to ensure all information is accurate.

  • Participate in developing and maintaining Investment Consultants databases.

What exactly should I focus on before the interview and is there anything in particular that they might as me?
Should I do more research on the company's position etc. Also, without sounding like a complete idiot (this is my first interview) how does one develop Investment Consultants databases (programs, fomats etc)

I'd appreciate all the help I can get. This is really important!
