Rialto Capital Management - Investment Management Division

Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone knew anything about Rialto, and their Investment Management team specifically. I know they're big in Miami, but does anyone know anything about the New York office? Interested in hearing about the experience, comp, exits, etc. Any info is helpful!

Know a guy that went there at the VP-ish level, was a diagonal move for him. From what I hear, it's not bad at the mid+ levels, but it's a grind for juniors.

"Who am I? I'm the guy that does his job. You must be the other guy."

Rialto is CMBS powerhouse with three main verticals: B-Piece investing, Conduit CMBS lending, and special servicing.

1) B-piece buyers: #1 B-Piece buyer in 2016 ($13,532 MM). The riskiest tranche of a CMBS bond thus returning the highest yield upon performance.

2) Conduit lending: 10th biggest CMBS loan contributor in 2017 ($425MM in conduit through 3/31/17) up from 11th in 2016. CMBS loans $5MM- $25MM that are pooled together. Active im mobile home park space.

3) Special servicing: #1 special servicer in 2016 ($12.9MM).

Space and place.
