Richard Ivey OR University of Melbourne

Accepted to both Richard Ivey and University of Melbourne. I have one year of experience on a BB trading floor and will be returing to school to finish my last 2 years of my undergrad.
I would like to travel and finish my degree in Australia however needless to say Richard Ivey offers many unique opportunities.
I don't have a clue where I'd like to work but travel is important. I'd like to go into banking or S&T.
Thoughts?

I don't think you will travel much in S&T or banking (compared to consultants). Honestly, I may be biased, but I would choose Ivey hands down. Their ibanking recruiting gets from all the BBs-->local boutiques, although you would barely even travel ouside the perimeter of your work to your apartment as an analyst. The school offers US and Canadian firms while Melbourne is probably more suited if you like to stay in Australia.

If travelling is so important to you, trading > ibanking. Not sure how Ivey measures up with BB trading though. But since you have the BB experience for trading, you should be fine in Ivey. Just my 2 cents
