Ridiculous things Senior Leaders say or do

Starting a thread to share some ridiculous and crazy sh it that senior leaders say or do. My background is in consulting and if you have spent even a few months, I can bet you have heard some crazy stuff on the job. PE/IB/VC and others - share what you hear that makes you go bat sh*t crazy!
Here's one of my favorites (happened to me in real life at least twice, by separate leaders) -

Me: Hi X (Partner in consulting firm), To take care of X, we have two options: Option 1 involves .. blah blah ... and option 2 involves ... blah blah ... [Pros and Cons of both given in clear terms] Which one do you prefer? (Or a version of - what would you like to do?.. and so on)

Partner replies late at night: Yes the office

Consulting partners talk shit all the time - when pitching us they spew all sorts of stuff about what our competitors are doing and urge us to urgently undertake feasibility studies to roll out a competitive reaction / pursue similar growth strategies as these competitors.... when we KNOW FOR A FACT our competitors are not doing said strategies.

It would be fine if it happened once or twice, but it's become too regular - no kidding, consulting is increasingly becoming a bullshit circus
