Right decision & next career step
I’m soon done with my MiF degree and started to apply for a lot of positions I thought I could see myself doing. I didn’t really expect to land any of them but hey I need to try? I haven’t really any relevant experience other than treasury-positions, but I unexpectedly landed a Investment Analyst position at a relatively new PE firm.
I turned down a M&A-internship at one of the BIG4 companies. Did I make the right choice?
The thought has always been to work in IB/PE, no idea with what, but that’ll come along the way…
Anyway I’m standing here and thinking whether or not I’ve made a good decision. Will a “start-up” PE-role make me attractive? What should my next career step be? What would you do? And when? For how long should I stay? Etc. give me everything you have.
