Rising Junior, Semi-Target. Time to move out of BO/MO..

Dear WSO Community,

Rip it apart and be harsh. Even the little things. Meeting bankers everyday for the work I do and aspire to work with them in the future.

Some things I've been concerned about:
- Is it better to write 'Summer Analyst/Winter Analyst' as opposed to 'Analyst Intern'? I've had MDs tell me that it's better to be upfront and say you were an intern rather than a 'summer analyst'.

- It is fine to disclose the banks which I conducted research on? I could be general and write 'major US banks' as opposed to the ones I've listed.

Aside, I've disclosed my role on Bloomberg Institute since there's no easy way to tell what it is I do without mentioning it. The others are self-explanatory.

As for your SA/WA vs. Intern question, I'd use what the bank told you you were. But in my opinion, SA/WA sounds better than intern... but if you were called an intern at the bank you probably shouldn't lie and say you were a SA.

Otherwise, pretty solid content. The formatting seems a little funky. Firstly, the header is a little awkward. Why is there a line separating your address/phone number and name/school email? And I would probably extend the line under "Education", "Work Experience", "Leadership", and "Qualifications" until the end of the page.

No worries. And remember there's no "right" way to write a resume but everyone always has an opinion. Your resume is yours and you should always have the final say on how you want it to look.
