Risk consulting to Equity Research
I'm Associate Director at a Big4 in Risk Advisory practice making £110k, however I don't feel i motivated and have realised that my passion is in investing. I've tried looking for buy side equity analyst roles and if i might get analyst / associate level roles paying c.£60k on the back of my MBA and CFA. Am i making a rash move by taking a salary cut and are there any other options to switch from consulting to investing / hedge fund career?
