Just wondering if doing a risk management program at a top insurance brokerage firm still considered a good job in the eyes of the finance world. What are the pros and cons? exit opportunities?

Pros: - Assuming its MMC/Aon/Willis it has a good name throughout the insurance world - You'll be able to have a decent in at some top MBA's - You can go into industry from what industry you're covering (think risk departments at Conoco if you're in Energy) - Work life balance is actually really good, and will be equal to or better than corporate finacne Cons: - It's not going to have much if any transition to the finance world - Theres a good chance its just as much a sales role as it is is a RM role and therefor hard to transition - If your goal is MBB/IBD/PE/HF/ER/you get the point it's p
