R.J. O'Brien Broker 3-Day Training Internship
Has anyone ever heard of this or know anyone who has done it? I found the posting through career services at my university and decided to throw in an application just to see what would happen. I received an acceptance letter today and have to let them know by 4/25 if I would like to attend.
I am interested in energy trading and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on whether or not this type of program would be relevant, worth it, etc.
Training will include:
-Visit to the CME trading floor
-Marketing & Trading Strategies
-Margins & Risk Management
-Back Office Operations
-RJO Trading Platforms
-Client Services
-Compliance
-Research
As long as you don't have to pay anything, what do you have to lose? Sounds like a fun way to spend 3 days if you have interest in trading.
