Rockpoint Group?

Does anyone have any recent information on Rockpoint Group? The forum doesn't have much mention of the firm. They recently raised their sixth fund at $5.8B, and they seem to be fairly diversified across a few different property types. Looking for any information whatsoever on culture, how it's viewed by other firms, career and salary progression, etc. etc.

To my knowledge they have 3 offices in the states, so location-specific info would be fantastic as well.

Don't have a lot of "recent" info but I know they were a bit ahead of the game (to my knowledge, which is limited, so grain of salt there) when it comes to buying/investing in operating platforms instead of just going after individual assets or portfolios.  I know a couple firms in which they took a substantial equity interest, which allowed those companies to meaningfully expand their acquisitions and operations.

Views seem to be pretty positive.  I don't know anyone working there but within the industry they're respected as knowing when to keep out of the hair of their operating partners.

Know a guy there who is super sharp. Rockpoint is a great group with high-pedigree people. The HQ is in Boston which is where their main Acquisitions team sits. I think Rockpoint would be a lot more popular on WSO if the HQ was in NYC because it's a top shop.

Bump.  Would love to learn more about Rockpoint Group and how it compares to other big name REPEs on PERE 10-50 in terms of comp, hours, and culture if anyone has any recent info. about it.
