Rosenbaum's new book worth the extra money?
Pretty much the title. Looking to pick up a copy of Investment Banking by Rosenbaum and Pearl, and am curious if the third edition is worth the extra $60-70 or if the second edition is still relevant.
Also, if anyone has looked through both what are the major differences that would make the new edition worth it?
Thanks

Just picked up the 2nd version for about 70 Yurobucks and planning to crush it until fall. What am I in for, guys? And how do I max the learning effect I get from it?
read it as you would a textbook as opposed to a novel
Yeah, I figured as much. Anything else? Is the exercise book worth it?
I just want to point out they cover the fundamentals in this book. I really doubt they're adding some break through info on these further editions. DCF gonna be a DCF....
Read the synopsis on Amazon... the new book is largely the same except it covers IPO valuation now. It's not like you can fundamentally change a DCF - will be minor tweaks.
Just get the free old versions as a pdf.
Get the third edition here seriously not hard to find shit like this for free online
i already have the 2nd but really want to read the new IPO added chapters, was kinda curious why it wasn't included before
might try to find the online pdf
