Rotation Program Advice

Hey guys, I'm searching for advice that nothing in a search came up with.

I'll try and be brief. I started at a BB ops rotational program this year. Of course, I can't stand it. I'm not sure exactly what I want to do, just know that its not this. The problem is that after the new year I am suppose to be meeting people in other areas of ops/mo and deciding what I want my second placement to be(each rotation is a year). This involves setting up meetings with managers, meetings with the rotational manager, etc. which I don't plan on being here that long. Not sure what I want to do, but this is straight slave labor, and it is horrible to go to day-in-day-out.

My dilemma: Should I tell the rotational manager, who is based in another office, that I only plan on being in the 2-year program for only the first year, then pursuing something else?
Would they just let me go on the spot, or let me ride it out till the end of the 1st-year rotation. Hopefully, I was thinking they would understand and just let me finish this rotation out. It would save them time by not having to find me another placement, and relieve me from not having to do the bs that encompasses this program. I guess the worst they could do is fire me on the spot? right.

Any advice
